Post Quarantine Hair Care

Updated: Jun 28, 2020

Hello Wonderful! My name is Jasmine Barlow and I am the CEO and Founder of Wonders by Wolrab. I hope you are all keeping safe and feeling genuine love while social distancing. Trust me I know that isn't always easy! Only a few people know this but I have always wanted to start my own blog and I think this is the perfect time to do so. I want this to be a space where we can discuss all things hair and skin care, with a sprinkle of love, happiness, and productivity.

Today I want to talk about what we've been doing with our hair these past three months. I got braids for six weeks, took them out, and two weeks later got more braids. It's hard to keep up with my hair on a regular but during this quarantine I did not want to be bothered with it at all. It's like I am detached to my hair at the moment. But I know places of business are slowly opening back up and the weather is beautiful, which may call for a new hair style. But before you get another protective style or rock your natural tresses I want you to try my absolute favorite DIY 'very deep' deep conditioner. Below are the steps I take to have super moisturized, shiny, and healthy hair:

1. When you take out your protective style be sure to detangle on moist hair. I mix any moisturizing conditioner, some Hair and Scalp Revitalizer, and warm water in a spray bottle. Be sure to detangle in sections (at least 4 sections)

2. Wash your hair with a deep cleansing shampoo at least two times to get all of the dirt and oils from your hair and scalp.

3. In a bowl, mix 1 packet of Henna n Placenta and several drops of Hair and Scalp Revitalizer and apply it to your hair in sections. Use a comb to get the 'very deep' deep conditioner on your hair from root to end. Be sure to rub it into your scalp too. Seal conditioner with a cap and leave on for at least thirty minutes.

4. Rinse out and style your hair as usual.

This mix always leaves my hair very soft, moisturized, and manageable. I sometimes leave this mix in for hours so it will work longer. It's simple and easy to make and you will see results quickly, which is wonderful if you are in a rush. I hope this mix becomes a staple in your post quarantine hair care! Be sure to comment below and tell me how your tresses liked it.

Stay true to you and continue to be

wonderful!
